I was born in Kinshasa. Raised in Denmark. Educated at Aarhus University. For over ten years I worked in Danish business: sales, coordination, international markets.

Along the way I realised that nobody was using what I actually had. Not what was on paper, but what cannot be learned: the language, the culture, the network. Knowing Congo from the inside and Denmark from the outside at the same time.

New deepwater port coming — Banana Port
DP World is investing in DRC's first deepwater port on the Atlantic coast. When it opens, trade costs are expected to fall by 12%. This makes import and export significantly cheaper for all companies operating in Congo.

Government actively opening to investors
In March 2025, President Tshisekedi launched a new Strategic Business Climate Plan aimed at making it easier to do business in DRC. ANAPI, the national investment agency, regularly holds meetings and forums for foreign companies looking to enter the market.

One important note
DRC is not a risk-free market. There are bureaucratic challenges, and the political situation in eastern provinces affects the business climate. But Kinshasa and western Congo are stable and active. That is exactly where Ebaba Consulting works — and exactly why local roots are essential.
